Amelie & Jane London: Our love story with fashion since 2010.

In 2010, Amelie opened a small boutique in the heart of London with a dream she held close to her heart: to create a place where every woman could feel welcome, beautiful and truly herself. Piece by piece, collection by collection, that little dream became Amelie & Jane London.

Years later, Jane joined her mother, and the boutique became a dream we could share. Working side by side, we poured our love into every detail. Between the busy days and the quiet moments, we were building more than a business. We were creating a part of our lives that would always belong to the two of us.

For 16 years, these doors have opened onto our second home. Behind every collection are years of dedication, sacrifices and memories we would not trade for anything. When we look at our little boutique, we see so much of ourselves: a mother’s dream, a daughter’s love, and all the years we were fortunate enough to share.

But keeping that dream alive has become harder. As large brands and retail giants take up more of our high streets, small family boutiques like ours struggle to find their place. After much thought, and with hearts heavier than we can say, we have made the painful decision to close Amelie & Jane London.

It is difficult to put into words what it means to say goodbye to something you have loved for so long. Our passion has not faded. If anything, preparing to close has reminded us just how much this little shop, and every woman who supported it, has meant to us.

Before we close our doors for the final time, we hope our remaining pieces will find a home with you. Perhaps one will become your favourite cardigan, or the coat you reach for on a crisp autumn morning. Knowing that something from our boutique will continue to be worn and loved brings us comfort as we let go.

Most of all, thank you. For every order, every kind word and every time you chose our little family business, you gave us the chance to keep our dream alive together. We will miss this chapter deeply, but we will carry your kindness with us long after our doors have closed.
